Pornographers continue to make mockery of Google services.
Now pornographers have even hijacked images from the topic, which describes Google negligence to the problem.
Three more examples:
1.) The following image from this very pagehosted here –
http://euronudist.eu/ima...GoogleSearchResult02.jpgwas linked by Pornographers to h--p://www.asymo.cz/index.php/new/11948/
and visitors are forced to see porno content
2.) The following image from EuroNudist.euhosted here –
http://www.euronudist.eu...dditions/EuroNudist1.jpgwas linked by Pornographers to h--p://www.marata.com.br/index.php/sluts/95869/
and visitors are forced to see the porno content on different url, but obviously from the same pornographers.
3.) The following image from this very page hosted here –
http://euronudist.eu/ima...GoogleSearchResult04.jpgwas linked by Pornographers to h--p://www.asymo.cz/index.php/breasts/20806/
and visitors are forced to see the porno content on different url, but obviously from the same pornographers.
How that hijacking is done? The hijacking is based on well-known approach of using the images from external location. When this is done without the permission from images owner, it is referred to as hot-linking or leeching.
Pornographers simply had created dummy pages with hot-linked images. Those images have already been on the top of google search results and they are usually property of legitimate businesses (and in our cases it’s a genuine nudist content)
Example of such dummy page, intended to be indexed by Google you can find
HERE.
(!!! Please, note that the pornographers could change the content of this page and I don’t want to provide live links to there website, so I save a copy of it and you can see it
HERE. It demonstrates how the page intended to deceive Google image search service looks like.)
And Google blindly and bluntly index those dummy pages at the top of Google image search results.
What can be done to remedy the problem? One way is actually very straight forward. The owner of the images can simply restrict access of those files only for use by the hosting website.
But this in many cases is not always possible. In my case I need to reference those files from variety of external websites, blogs, forums, etc.
So, what might me resolution of this problem.
I don’t think that the technical solution is very difficult to find.
I am sure that Google easily can provide solution for this problem.
One way could be GOOGLE NOT indexing and providing in its search result images with origin different than the host.
e.g.
The image
http://www.EuroNudist.eu/content/images/additions/EuroNudist2.jpg should be indexed only if it served by the website with domain name
www.EuroNudist.eu Obviously this is simplified interpretation of the problem and the possible solution.
There plenty of cases, when the images are better to be sourced from location outside the main hosting website (like on CDN, etc.), but at the end of the day it’s clear that Google MUST take measures to eradicate the problem.
After all by facilitating the hijacking Google becomes accomplice in copy-right theft.
When company pays money to produce and distribute advertising in form of images and thieves/pornographers use those images (in addition to paid bandwidth) to generate profit for their dirty business that is a clear form of criminal offence.
I believe that hijacking of Google image search results is extensively used practice by all sorts of irresponsible ill-intentioned individuals and companies, not only pornographers and the targets are not only nudist/naturist websites.
But the use of this technique by Pornographers against Nudist/Naturists website is especially drastic and widely spread.
In this case
Google is to blame for NOT distinguishing between PORNOGRAPHY and NUDISM/NATUIRISM.
When someone searches for terms, which include the key word ‘nudist’ Google serves more than 90% present of its results from PORNO websites.
Google MUST use a mechanism to exclude PORNO websites from those searches.
It is WRONG, It is MESLEADING. It’s degrading a perfectly normal way of life practiced by millions of people around the globe.
GOOGLE and the rest of the search engines MUST change their current practice of using terms as ‘nudist’, ‘naturist’ to sell PORNOGRAPHY by providing misleading, deceptive search results.
This practice MUST end one way or another. Google and the rest of the search engines have to show that they are socially responsible companies and voluntarily STOP this wrongful practice or they MUST be forced to do so by the appropriate public authorities, organisations and media outlets.
