Pornographers hijack Google Image Search Results

It is about time Google to address many issues with the aggressive practices of the pornographic websites. The issue I am going to described it’s not the only one, but we will open another tread to expose and discuss those problems.

What is the problem?
I’ve run a Google Image Search on the term: “euro nudist”.
Here am not to discuss the other issues with the results of this search as I have mentioned, but let's concentrate on the following:

The search image result contained some images from our website http://www.EuroNudist.eu, which is pretty normal, but I have realised that on hoover on one of the images it's link is actually pointing to different website … not ours. It was a pornographic website - http://www.HotiePORN.com/

Oddly enough the image was ours and hosted on our website [ View image ]

Pornographers hijack Google Image Search Results – using legitimate images of nudist’s websites

but it was linked to the PORNOGRAPHIC website [ Visit page ]

Pornographers hijack Google Image Search Results – and redirecting users to pornographic content

This is in fact HIJACKING of the search results of Google Image Search.

So, when the users click on our image (clearly watermarked “EuroNudist.eu”)
http://euronudist.eu/content/images/additions/EuroNudist2.jpg

Image property of EuroNudist.eu

they get redirected to the pornographic website HotiePORN.com.
http://www.hotieporn.com/euro/euro-nudist-speak-out.html

HotiePORN.com – thieves

The pornographers don’t even bother to steel the images and host them on their server.

What they did was stealing our intellectual property (our photos) and our internet hosting bandwidth by using a loophole in Google’s Image Search functionality.

In addition to that pornographers are stealing our traffic of potential visitors and are damaging our reputation by giving the impression that EuroNudist.eu is part of HotiePORN.com PORNOGRAPHIC network.

We shall be writing to Google and wait for their response on this matter.

Surely no response from Google, but at least they removed the picture with the hijacked link out of their search results and soon afterwards they again picked up the image with the correct link.

Google didn’t bother to explain how the hijacking happen and what measures they could take to prevent similar future hijacking occurring again.

And the hijacking directly of their search result is not the only problem Google should address.

The words “nudism”, “naturism” and their variants are heavily hijacked by porn industry and Google allow PORNOGRAPHIC content to be presented instead of legitimate nudist/naturism information.

Google 'euro nudist' Search Results

The search term is “euro nudist”, but the results show a little about the nudism.

Many photos are pure pornographic acts in all variety of poses – heterosexual, homosexual, often performed by under aged boys and girls.

Oops – Google has done it again -
Pornographers hijack Google Image Search Results again

I cannot believe that Google allow their search results to be so easily hijacked by bunch of pornographers

The problem is described in the first post of this topic.

I’ve run a Google Image Search on the term: “euro nudist”.

The search image result contained some images from our website http://www.EuroNudist.eu, which is pretty normal, but I have realised that on hoover on one of the images it's link is actually pointing to different website … not ours. It was a pornographic website - postoneproperties.com/index.php/free/2925 , which pretend to be a properties website

Pornographers even add their pornographic description to the image, which has nothing to do with the original content.

Quote:
"... drunkpartysluts Page NSFW Images from the web Free porn Naturist Freedom online free naturist videos of ..."

Pornographic description

In addition to that pornographers are stealing our traffic of potential visitors and are damaging our reputation by giving the impression that EuroNudist.eu is part of PORNOGRAPHIC network.

Google should be sued for damages caused by their negligence.

Pornographers continue to make mockery of Google services.

Now pornographers have even hijacked images from the topic, which describes Google negligence to the problem.
Three more examples:
1.) The following image from this very page

Pornographers hijack Google Image Search Results

hosted here – http://euronudist.eu/ima...GoogleSearchResult02.jpg
was linked by Pornographers to h--p://www.asymo.cz/index.php/new/11948/
and visitors are forced to see porno content

2.) The following image from EuroNudist.eu

and visitors are forced to see the porno content on different url, but obviously from the same pornographers.

Pornographers hijack Google Image Search Results

How that hijacking is done?
The hijacking is based on well-known approach of using the images from external location. When this is done without the permission from images owner, it is referred to as hot-linking or leeching.
Pornographers simply had created dummy pages with hot-linked images. Those images have already been on the top of google search results and they are usually property of legitimate businesses (and in our cases it’s a genuine nudist content)
Example of such dummy page, intended to be indexed by Google you can find HERE.

(!!! Please, note that the pornographers could change the content of this page and I don’t want to provide live links to there website, so I save a copy of it and you can see it HERE. It demonstrates how the page intended to deceive Google image search service looks like.)
And Google blindly and bluntly index those dummy pages at the top of Google image search results.

What can be done to remedy the problem?
One way is actually very straight forward. The owner of the images can simply restrict access of those files only for use by the hosting website.
But this in many cases is not always possible. In my case I need to reference those files from variety of external websites, blogs, forums, etc.
So, what might me resolution of this problem.
I don’t think that the technical solution is very difficult to find.
I am sure that Google easily can provide solution for this problem.
One way could be GOOGLE NOT indexing and providing in its search result images with origin different than the host.
e.g.
The image
http://www.EuroNudist.eu/content/images/additions/EuroNudist2.jpg
should be indexed only if it served by the website with domain name www.EuroNudist.eu

Obviously this is simplified interpretation of the problem and the possible solution.
There plenty of cases, when the images are better to be sourced from location outside the main hosting website (like on CDN, etc.), but at the end of the day it’s clear that Google MUST take measures to eradicate the problem.

After all by facilitating the hijacking Google becomes accomplice in copy-right theft.

When company pays money to produce and distribute advertising in form of images and thieves/pornographers use those images (in addition to paid bandwidth) to generate profit for their dirty business that is a clear form of criminal offence.
I believe that hijacking of Google image search results is extensively used practice by all sorts of irresponsible ill-intentioned individuals and companies, not only pornographers and the targets are not only nudist/naturist websites.

But the use of this technique by Pornographers against Nudist/Naturists website is especially drastic and widely spread.

In this case Google is to blame for NOT distinguishing between PORNOGRAPHY and NUDISM/NATUIRISM.

When someone searches for terms, which include the key word ‘nudist’ Google serves more than 90% present of its results from PORNO websites.
Google MUST use a mechanism to exclude PORNO websites from those searches.

It is WRONG, It is MESLEADING. It’s degrading a perfectly normal way of life practiced by millions of people around the globe.

GOOGLE and the rest of the search engines MUST change their current practice of using terms as ‘nudist’, ‘naturist’ to sell PORNOGRAPHY by providing misleading, deceptive search results.

This practice MUST end one way or another. Google and the rest of the search engines have to show that they are socially responsible companies and voluntarily STOP this wrongful practice or they MUST be forced to do so by the appropriate public authorities, organisations and media outlets.

'Pubic Lice with Cameras (PLC)' Pornographers spread their menace all over the internet

If someone is thinking that only this website is affected, better think again.

'Pubic Lice with Cameras (PLC)' Pornographers target all websites, but especially the ones with genuine nudist content.

In the post above (post 4; example 3) I have given an example of pornographer’s dummy page used to trick Google search services with URL -
h--p://www.asymo.cz/index.php/breasts/20806/

See the copied dummy page HERE

When you inspect that page you will see that there are many pictures from genuine nudist websites used by PLC Pornographers.
(!!! In case you are wondering what “'Pubic Lice with Cameras (PLC)' Pornographers” means you can read this article
Action Group - Stop PORNOfying Nudism
And hopefully you can join the action group or help its cause
)

Some of the affected websites are
‘Naturist Ramblers’
http://www.justwearasmile.co.uk/natram/

‘Naked Club’
http://www.naked-club.org/
http://www.naked-club.or.../landing-newsletter.png,
http://www.naked-club.or...tos/landing-facebook.png )

‘Naturist-Holiday-Guide.com’
http://www.naturist-holiday-guide.com/

‘Vritomartis’ - Naturist Resort in Crete, Greece
https://www.vritomartis.com/

‘Allnudist’
https://allnudist.wordpress.com/

‘Olive Dell Ranch’ - Southern California nudist resort
http://www.olivedellranch.com/

‘Eden Naturally’ - UK Naturist Bed and Breakfast
http://www.edennaturally.co.uk/

‘They Walk Amongst Us’ – UK, Personal nudist webpage(s)
http://theywalkamongstus.co.uk/Naturist/Naturist%20front.html
( http://theywalkamongstus.../Naturist/underwater.jpg )

And very interestingly those genuine nudist websites don’t get on top of the Goggle search results when searching for ‘euro nudist’ …
… 'Pubic Lice with Cameras (PLC)' Pornographers websites are on top.
It’s time to ask Google – Why?

The last one
‘They Walk Amongst Us’ – UK, Personal nudist webpage(s)
http://theywalkamongstus.co.uk/Naturist/Naturist%20front.html
( http://theywalkamongstus.../Naturist/underwater.jpg )
actually is using an image to promote well-known and reputable nudist club in the UK
Watford Naturist Swimming Club (WNSC)
http://wnsc.org.uk/
The image is clearly watermarked, but this doesn’t stop PLC Pornographers of hijacking it.

Watford Naturist Swimming Club (WNSC)

Another example is an image hijacked by PLC Pornographers from
Health & Efficiency Naturist’ – H&E Naturist is the world’s leading monthly commercial magazine focusing on the naturist and nudist lifestyle.
https://www.henaturist.net/
The image hosted on their website
http://www.henaturist.ne...p001_HE_July-cropped.jpg
Is hijacked and used to get PLC Pornographers website to the top of Google’s image search results.

Pornographers hijack Google Image Search Results

Google’s search results redirect the viewers to the PLC Pornographers website
h--p://l1.spielplatzpruefung.beu-agentur.com/index.php/bondage/1333/
and they got presented with Pubic Lice with Cameras (PLC) pornographic content, instead of original naturist images and articles.

Pornographers hijack Google Image Search Results

This is a disgrace for nudism/naturism,
this is a disgrace for many reputable websites and organisations,
this is a disgrace for Google and the rest of the search engines,
this after all is a criminal offence and it MUST be stopped.

Thank you very much for addressing this problem. It is again a warning to people who are in doubt if their photos are safe on internet.

@AnthonyM: Isn't it possible to block other websites from showing euronudist.eu content? (My technical knowledge is not enough to advise you on this subject...)
